We are finishing up our last unit of Michigan History before Thanksgiving Break. Students will receive their Study Guide today (Wednesday), which will be due Monday. They should be able to answer all of the questions except those under the "Michigan becomes a state" section, which we will learn about tomorrow (Thursday). I would strongly encourage students to study over the weekend! I will make sure they have the correct answers to the Study Guide on Monday. We will play a review game that day as well. Our test will be Tuesday. If your child will be gone on Tuesday, please notify me so that we can make arrangements for the test.

Thanksgiving Feast

Reminders will sent home this week regarding the items you volunteered to bring to the Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday. The feast will begin around 11:00 A.M. in the cafeteria. Parents are more than welcome to join in the festivities. Any questions, please call your child's homeroom teacher. Thanks again.

Over the next few weeks we will be focusing our study in science on types of rocks, how they are formed, and how scientists(called geologists) use fossils to determine how old and where the fossils came from?
