6A is in the middle of Bits and Pieces II; they are learning how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals. They also spent the past few weeks practicing percent problems, such as finding tips, tax, and amount of discount.
6B is in Bits and Pieces I, reviewing the basics of fractions, decimals, and percents in preparation for B and P II.
7th grade is almost finished with the book Covering and Surrounding, in which they are learning about perimeter and area. They have learned about parallelograms and triangles, and are now discovering the formulas for circles.
8th Connected is learning about exponential growth and how it relates to linear relationships in the book Growing, Growing, Growing.
8th Algebra finished a chapter on division in algebra and is now learning about linear relationships.
