This week we will focus on Predicting the weather and understanding the conditions necessary for severe weather (thunderstorm, tornado, hurricane, flood, and lake effect snow). We will also begin creating a severe weather board game as a class that can be played in order to reinforce ideas learned in class.
Monday: Weather Predictions, Weather Map Symbol of the Day, Cloud Demonstration, Cloud Notes
Tuesday: Weather Predictions, Weather Map Symbol of the Day, Tornados and Thunderstorms
Wednesday: Weather Predictions, Weather Map Symbol of the Day, Hurricanes, Talk about board games
Thursday: Weather Predictions, Weather Map Symbol of the Day, Work on Board Games
Friday: Lake Effect Storms, Floods, Work on Board Games
Test NEXT FRIDAY October 24.
