We are learning all about what mining in Michigan was like in the U.P. once upon a time. We had a fantastic presentation on Thursday that taught us SO much. We went back in time to the little town of Fayette, Michigan and became miners from all different countries. We learned all about pig iron, yes, pig iron, and even did some dancing. It was a great learning experience. Here are some pictures of us in action.
