Dune Day 2007!

What a wonderful day we had! After some weather that did not cooperate last Friday...
We took a chance and headed out today to North Shore Beach. It was FUN! We had wonderful drivers and helpers at the beach. We could not have done it without them. The kids went on dune hikes, did some experiments with water erosion, wind erosion, painted with sand, made molds with sand and Plaster of Paris, built jetties and seawalls, and played the dune game. It was a day filled with learning and working at the beach. Check out the pictures of our fantastic Holmes students in action...
